CASE SUMMARY
The aim of this study is to compare the effectiveness of a plastic needle (IrriFlex) with that of a metal needle (NaviTip) in extracted tooth canals with a certain degree of curvature (between 20° and 40°).
The study concludes that IrriFlex is more flexible than the metal needle, but that cleaning is not significantly more effective (neither at 3mm nor at 6mm from the apex).
